I am the Wild

This morning I woke up from this dream that reminded me of Into the Wild. I meant to write it down. Very rarely do I remember my dreams when I wake up let so it was kind of special.

That dream rekindled my fascination with Christopher McCandless. I read the wikipedia entery on Into the Wild and came across something interesting. A company called Terra Incognita made a documentary that debunks so of the assertions made by the movie and the book.

The concept I came up with today is that, men seem themselves as both boring and unknowable. The reason one pursues the adventure is to conquer the wild within. At least that is my journey.

What Should I Do?

I have been suffering from a severe malaise for the last couple days. I think its from a bunch of poor decisions I have been making. I chose not to go to my spanish class a bunch of times. I didn't mail in my unemployment forms. I have been putting my own desires in front of my relationship with God... It kind of goes on and on. So I fluctuate from a overwhelming since of woe to a simple malaise.

trying to scale the...
hoping to vanquish...
Striving to maintain a condition that can never be met
I yearn for a piece of contentment
Longing for? at least in theory
the conditions to be satisfied
But really for the demands to terminate

Its weird this seems like some old fashioned advice that an unthinking person might give someone who just had a death in the family.
